I have been to this location twice now and have also patronized their food truck in the past. The food is always delicious! Fresh, quality ingredients. The staff is friendly and service was fast. The “Sweet Dreams are Made of Brie” is so yummy, the “six meat under” flatbread pizza was excellent, and you have to try ... the waffle fries!!!! So good! Even the Brussel sprouts were tasty! It was our first time trying Penne, the food was very good, beautifully made and prepared. We ordered chicken alfredo, a grinder sandwich, garlic waffle fries, bruschetta, and a flat bread kids pizza. All were very good! Definitely a recommend if you want a casual cafe style Italian restaurant.

I had their food on their food truck and everything was fresh and delicious! I love that their fries have garlic, but not so much that I have to use a mint for the rest of the afternoon. We tried their Mac Daddy, which was a surprise when we ate it because it was so good but it wasn't greasy or super heavy, just light ... and cheesy. I love the original sauces that they use and especially the sauce for the Undercover Spice dish which was just enough spice for me to enjoy without any discomfort! Im always trying to find a great sandwich in Knoxville. Especially an Italian sandwich. This Italian sandwich by far is the best one I have found! Penne is a local gem! Creative and delicious menu, friendly staff and management. Tried the grinder sandwich for the first time today and it was awesome. Check them out on Sundays for a brunch menu and they have local vendors set up a marketplace in the parking lot to support local business!

Saw an advertisement on instagram and stopped in, well worth the hype! We got the fried ravioli, buff chicken pizza and chicken ceaser and it was all great. The honey garlic yogurt sauce was also amazing as well as the ranch. Definitely try it out.
